TEHRAN -- Interior Ministry election chief Kamran Daneshju stated on Tuesday that official presidential campaigns will start on May 22 and lasts for twenty days.

He also said the registration of presidential hopefuls will start on May 5 and lasts for five days. He added the qualification of candidates will be examined by the Guardian Council.
Talking in a press conference, Daneshju added that the names of qualified candidates will be announced publicly on May 20.
Presidential election will be held on June 12
